Volunteers Needed: The Town of Collingwood is currently seeking volunteers to fill a vacancy on the Collingwood Public Library Board, for a term concurrent with Council expiring November 2026 or until such time as their succesors are appointed following the expiration of the term of Council. The Collingwood Public Library is governed under the Public Libraries Act by a seven-member board appointed every four years by Town Council.
The Board acts in a governance capacity, setting the strategic initiatives for the Library, providing policy direction, advocacy, and ensures that solid management practices are followed.
