As part of our regular spring maintenance, the Town of Collingwood flushes fire hydrants throughout the municipality. The flushing could result in cloudy or discoloured water. We suggest allowing your taps to run for a short amount of time and this should clear up.

If a hydrant is surrounded by snow, where is the hydrant located?

The Town of Collingwood attempts to keep the area surrounding hydrants clear. During times of extreme snowfall however, it may take us some time to get to all hydrants. If a hydrant is on your property and you are able to assist with snow removal we would greatly appreciate your help.

If you have a waste water issue, please describe the issue.

If your waste water issue is related to a sewer backup, your concern will be forwarded to the Town of Collingwood Public Works Department.
