14th Annual Mayor's Golf Challenge Cup

Summer has arrived in Collingwood and with it the anticipation of the 14th
Annual Mayor’s Golf Challenge Cup. The Committee is already hard at work to
make this one of the best tournaments ever.
The Mayor’s Golf Challenge Cup “Four Person Fundraiser Scramble” will be held
Thursday, August 13th, 2009, at the Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club,
located on the Tenth Line, Collingwood. As in the past, all proceeds from this
tournament will be directed to the Collingwood and District Special Olympic
Athletes. The success of this tournament is due to the generous donations
received from the corporate sector throughout the Town of Collingwood and
surrounding area. We are very proud to announce that last year $16,000.00 was
raised.
To assist us to make this year’s Mayor’s Golf Challenge Cup an even greater
success there are two ways of donating:
By way of a Hole Sponsor ‐ In becoming a Hole Sponsor you will receive high
profile signage and recognition. In an effort to increase the proceeds raised for
the Collingwood and District Special Area Olympic Athletes we are increasing the
number of hole sponsor opportunities to two per hole. With 36 sites to offer this
marketing opportunity is selling out quickly. Each Hole Sponsorship is selling for
$200.00 each.
By way of Prize Donation – In donating a prize you will receive high profile
recognition on the Town of Collingwood Website, the Town page in the
Enterprise Bulletin, as well as, recognition in the tournament program.
